Royce Hall is an architectural landmark of UCLA: one of the unique four buildings of the Westwood campus, constructed in 1929. The UCLA's Royce Hall building was modeled after a Milan, Italy, and basilica and was designed by designer David Allison. The UCLA's Royce Hall auditorium seats 1,833, houses an antique pipe organ and has been host to a wide diversity of world celebrated performing artists. Royce Hall was renovated after the 1994 Northridge earthquake, the hall has stunning acoustics.
