 Rascal Flatts is an American country music band comprised of lead vocalist Gary LeVox, bassist Jay DeMarcus, and electric guitarist Joe Don Rooney. The name Rascal Flatts was suggested by someone who had a garage band by that name in the 1960s. After landing a record deal with Lyric Street Records the Rascal Flatts released their eponymous debut in 2000.
