Celtic Woman was recorded on the September 15, 2004 for PBS Television in The United States at The Helix, Dublin to a sell-out audience. The show was first broadcast in March 2005 in The United States and within weeks the album Celtic Woman reached number one in the World Music charts in America. Celtic Woman's huge success in Asia and in America has been credited to the already successful megastar Enya. In 2006, producer David Downes announced that due to the success that Celtic Woman has had worldwide, he is now in the process of making two new albums featuring all five ladies. It was also announced July 29, 2006 that a new Celtic Woman program will be recorded at the legendary Slane Castle, in Meath, Ireland.
